The Grievance Committee (GC) is responsible for processing grievances submitted by CCEA/HA members. The Grievance process is the formal process where disagreements and violations in Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA's, also referred to as "contracts") between management and collective bargaining units are resolved through a negotiated process.

The GC is the initial action point for employees who, for instance, face disciplinary action. The GC takes a role in providing an EA representative to an employee subject to meeting with management and reviews grievances for action at various stages in the grievance process.
