April 24th postcard party + other ways to get involved with campaigns

Dear CCEA members,
As you likely know, CCEA has endorsed two candidates in the upcoming elections–Catherine McMullen for County Clerk and Sonya Fischer for County Commissioner Position 5. Thank you to everyone who participated in our endorsement vote! You can read more about these endorsements here.
We are excited to support Catherine and Sonya’s campaigns, and we have some different ways to get involved!

On Friday April 24 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. join us for a Postcard Writing Party for Catherine McMullen! We may also have the opportunity to make calls for Sonya Fischer–we’re still working out some details. This party is happening in NE Portland and you can RSVP here. Feel free to bring family and friends!

Are you interested in hosting a postcard writing party, a phone bank, fundraising event or otherwise taking the lead on a project to support one or both candidates? Fill out this form and we’ll be in touch!

If you want to volunteer directly for the campaigns, fill out this interest form for Catherine or this form for Sonya. It would be great to mention being a CCEA member. Catherine’s first canvassing training will be on April 25 and it would be great if some CCEA members could be there!
Remember, you should only be supporting political campaigns during your own time, not on county time or using county resources.
